The periodic table is not the easiest to learn, but to do well in science or just in science class; you need to know it through and through. Not only does the periodic table help you pass high school, it too is important to know for everyday products we use in life.

So how can something so important be so difficult to learn? Mainly let’s blame it on the naming of the tables, they are definitely not the easiest to pronounce, therefore proving difficult to remember.

However, memory can be tricked by word association and especially if made into a song and that is just the point of when learning becomes fun again.  A The NEW Periodic Table Song (In Order), by asapSCIENCE has a poetic feel to the song and covers the entire periodic table in a Big-Bang Theory type of style (that was my first thought as it began to play).

Undoubtedly Sheldon Cooper and the gang would have a field day with this song and makes a great way to teach children of a younger age something they will not only need to know later for school but for life in general too.

The song A New Periodic Table (In Order) has become an Internet sensation and is very addictive too. It is currently available on iTunes. Now we can listen repeatedly and make it a song sung during long car rides or before bedtime. This form of learning the Periodic Table is more fun than I remember and will bring out our inner scientist that lives within all of us.

Justin Timberlake is known for his time spent in a boy band in the 90’s, NSYNC, for bringing sexy back and most recently MySpace too. In fact, he used the social platform’s re-launch as a way to launch his latest album, the 20/20 Experience. As a marketing ploy he enticed people to join (or for many rejoin) the site to hear his first song released titled “Suit and Tie”. Just as cleverly, a Youtuber, wekejay created a parody of the video and song to JT’s hit directed towards Ironman fans.

Not only is it shot in black and white to mimic the feel of Timberlake’s video its mashup with an Iron Man theme, casts Wesley Freitas as Tony Stark, who can not only sing but resembles Robert Downey Jr. as well.

Using props and lyrics that sing to the Arc Reactor Core of Iron Man fans, the video is well directed and filmed; the making of the perfect viral video. Just when you think you have seen it all, especially on the web, you stumble across an instant “aww moment” when you watch how a man puts a group of puppies to bed.

At first, you think it cannot be done. The puppies are too awake and making noises that one would think there is absolutely no way that they are going to go to sleep.  But as the man begins to sing a well-known song from the 50’s, a song that ironically would make for a perfect lullaby, “Goodnight Sweetheart Well It’s Time to Go”, sung by the Platters, a song that apparently makes for the perfect puppy plural sleeping aid. (Who knew?)

As the man continues singing the lyrics to the song repeatedly, you will be amazed at how one-by-one each puppy settles down and finds a spot to nestle into for the night. This is definitely a video you have to see to believe. Just when you think Caesar Milan was the only Dog Whisperer out there, in comes this guy.

Dear Diary,

I awoke this morning to the sounds of my authority’s pitter patter on the floor, early it was, but I decided it was time to announce my presence. As I do every day, I had expected my greetings with a smile and a rub when I discovered something horrid as I did my elongated stretch against her knees. My authority was watching a video…about cats.

Not only was I disgusted that my authority was watching videos of cats, I was appalled that there was no mention of me, thus I have taken over her blog in hopes to grab her attention and those of her readers.

As I caught her viewing a YouTube video “Sad Cat Diary”, it had inspired me to put pen to paw…err….paw to keyboard and spew my concerns for other cats that might encounter their authorities taking their eyes off of them and onto the video included in this scratch post…err…blog post.

Now, with that said, I could not help but over hear the complaints these other make of my species had within the video and although I am disappointed that my authority was viewing a cat video, I cannot help but feel the pains of my furry people.

I too have suffered from bowls half empty, thumb tacks that I thought were for sure an insect and unappreciated mice gifts brought to the doorstep, okay I didn’t touch the filth but know family members who have, and suffered in their sadness of its rejection.

I am a catdren (cat + children), and I am not owned. I like to be pet when I decide I want to be social and I do not like other things taking time away from the time I have allotted my authority to spend time with me. This is not the first time I have taken to the keyboard, but it is the first time my sentences did not look like “hakuennwejh” when I jumped up on it.

Therefore, I hope that other catdren’s will not want to scrap with me over sharing the cries of our fellow brothers and sisters in order to bring awareness to the two legged furless figures within our homes. It will disgust you to see them watch videos of cats as it did me, but once you hear the importance of spreading our first world cat problems globally I hope that someday we can roll around in some cat nip together…until then.

Pinterest sure has made a lot of changes aesthetically as of late. Although it is great to make a social site dedicated to images more appealing, they have been making more changes than Facebook, or so it seems.

Visual content has evolved and become more popular as we use it to communicate our “likes” without having to say a word. Pinterest is the best spot for non-personal images that display boards of images that share what our interests are and providing a form of connecting further with like-minded people by repinning images into similar boards to continue its movement.

As of today you will once again see a new-look to Pinterest. Normally our notifications would stream down the left-hand side of our Pinterest timeline; it has changed its location a few times, but not as noticeably as now. Today it will be located in the top right-hand corner and will look very familiar too. Its style emulates that of Facebook and since Facebook is known for its notifications, this will most likely be an easily adjustable change.

You can also edit your notifications on the site by clicking the bubble and clicking “edit”. From there you will be able to choose whether you want to receive on-site notifications from everyone or only from people you follow.

Not only will it be familiar, it will actually make the feature more effective since a number will display in a red box when someone has created and action on your pin (Like, repin, or a comment). This will then prompt you to want to check your notifications by clicking on the red numbered bubble to see what activities were created.

This too can encourage Pinterest users to connect even further since you will now actually look at what has been made of your own efforts, whereas before notifications didn’t require a click to view, they were simply just there.

Now you will have to put a little more effort into seeing the results of your efforts which is something we have come very used to on sites like Facebook and Google+.

Our business culture has always been to let the customer have the last word, they are always right after all and although some of this way of doing business can still work; it doesn’t on Facebook.

Customer service has advanced due to the easier ways of communicating with businesses through social media platforms.  Customers or potential customers are no longer lingering in cyberspace; instead, they are actively looking to interact with your brand.

Facebook has become the hub for such interactions as their pages platform have made contacting and connecting with a business the easiest. Through having the ability to comment on shared content, chat via a private message or even leave positive or negative feedback via the resistant recommendations feature.

No matter how a person contacts your Business on Facebook, your need to respond is a necessity. However, not only do you respond but now we have finally advanced enough for your business to have the last word.

At first thought, it may seem improper to have the last word, but if you have ever reviewed a Facebook page that didn’t, it looks like the business is not keeping up the page, which can give the perception to a potential customer that they cannot easily message you through the private message feature to get a response. This perception has a ripple effect; it then turns to, if the business isn’t responding online than in-store they may not be customer service driven either.

One of the many things we have learned from social media is its impact it has not only from reviews of others but from the expectations of an active presence to be available by the brand. Sloppy pages will get overlooked, non-relatable content will make your efforts mean less and non-responsive communication will make you look like you lack in customer service.

Your business’s social sites are an extension of your place of business. Just because they are not made of brick, does not lessen their importance. If a customer were to walk into your store and ask you questions, you would answer right? If they made a statement, had feedback or left with a smile, you would respond to the statement, ask how you can improve or say thank you for the feedback and smile back if someone smiled at you.

You must apply this face-to-face service to your online version of your business. Your website has now become the shelves on a store rack, your social networks is where your face-to-face time happens now and more often, especially on Facebook.

Facebook is where the people are. It is the place that people can contact and connect the quickest without having to stray too far away from what their original intentions of using Facebook within that moment was. It mixes what you share on your Facebook Page with what they have within their newsfeed and they can see more than you realize.

Therefore, when someone asks a question using the comment feature, answer it. If they leave feedback, ask how you can make their experience more helpful or thank them for it (even if it is not public) and an emoticon smiley face is a smile in return.

Your presence is important and you care about your business’s reputation and that means that every written connection should mean something to you. You would not ignore someone who came into your store nor should you ignore someone who comments on your social sites. Facebook has the largest impact and that is why having the last word especially on Facebook will have your business looking attentive and provide the quality of service that can lead from a conversation to a lead generation.

The detail that was put into the making of this video not only makes for an addiction in the making, it will be the breaking point for any Breaking Bad fan to want to scream “Shut up and Take My Money.” However, this video is merely a tease since the video game captured within the video is not actually real.

Brian Anderson states that he has no affiliation with the show, LEGO or any video game distributor and yet his video is sheer genius and would make many gamers gather around their gaming consoles craving for more, cooking up a sweat from portraying arguably one of televisions best shows.

Since we have to wait until August to watch the actual Breaking Bad finale (makes one feel as though they stepped on a LEGO) this would have made for the perfect time passer as summer faded and the Breaking Bad season began. However, we will have to wait until the day we can hope that LEGO and Breaking Bad will collide and become a real video game. As Twitter has been closing its virtual doors to developers who have or wanted to create third-party apps to access Twitter, Facebook has surprisingly steered into the opposite direction by allowing Developers to cash in on their biggest announcement for Facebook mobile, Home, a mobile experience that puts friends as your smartphone’s focal point.

Instead of releasing a much rumored Facebook phone, Facebook has decided to become a contender on existing phones which in turns could turn every smartphone available into a Facebook phone. This means that there are huge opportunities geared towards Developers once Facebook Home is available to smartphones. Its initial run will take place on certain Android phones; here is a list of specific Android phones Facebook Home will be available for free on April 12^th 2013 through the Google Play Store:
