Facebook Allows People to See if You Ignore Their Facebook Chat Messages
Facebook changes happen so often and quickly that we may skip ones that affect us. Any changes to our Social Networks should catch our attention since in one way or another they will either directly or indirectly affect you in some way.
One major change has to do with your ability to hide on Facebook chat or not, this may not seem to be a huge change, but it is. No more can you say you did not get a message via a Facebook chat, since now Facebook will tell the sender when you have seen it, time stamped and all.
So if you decide to go green (online) and do not actually want to talk to someone you may want to think again, since now you will either have to choose your Facebook chatting times more wisely by the times you do actually want to be social or choose the consequence of allowing the sender to see that you intentionally ignored them.
On a positive note, if you are the sender, you will at least now know if your message was sent.
Do you see this new change to Facebook chat as a better form of Communication or another violation of Privacy?
