You are most likely aware by now that Facebook has enabled the ability to use emoticons within Facebook comments on the Facebook web based platform and in its chat feature as well as the Facebook Messenger mobile app.
However emoticons are not enabled to be shared on status updates or through the Facebook mobile app, not even in the comments, not yet that is.
