Twitter has rolled out this week a brand new tool, one that will be used for direct advertising, enabling surveys as promoted tweets. The tweet will ask for you to take a survey and once you click on the tweet the survey will expand for you to answer in a multiple choice fashion.

The well-known stats company, Nielson is working with Twitter to analyze the final results and is currently being rolled out for free to high-paying advertisers with intent on expanding more openly to other partners.

Twitter Surveys is a form of advertising meant to help business users get direct feedback on a campaign and with the information they will be able to tweak it as well as able to gain analytical data.

This also seems why Twitter has made decisions as of late that have cut ties with developers and partners since surveys will only be accessible through the Twitter platform, therefore making room for amplification ahead of time for when surveys roll out through @TwitterSurveys.
